The cover of the written part of the Bachelor thesis “The Brand Strategy Book” was conceived as a continuation of the brand’s visual identity. Translating the digital essence of the Maze Pattern into a tangible medium, I decided to work with acrylic glass - a material that reflects clarity, precision, and persistence. Its transparency allowed the conceptual core of the Million Moves More identity to be expressed: the interplay between visibility and structure, between what is revealed and what remains within the system.
The maze structure, already established as a key visual of the brand, was laser-engraved into the acrylic surface. This process required numerous trials, adjusting power, speed, and depth to avoid melting the edges while maintaining a sharp and clean cut. Each iteration became part of a controlled experiment, testing the limits of the material and the translation of digital form into physical matter.
After a full day of calibration and testing, six perfectly engraved plates were produced. Each plate represented a precise alignment of craft and concept, a manifestation of discipline meeting design. The maze pattern caught the light in different ways depending on the angle, emphasizing the dynamic nature of the brand’s core graphic language.
Once the plates were finalized, the written thesis was carefully mounted within the matching acrylic sleeve. The transparency of the cover creates a dialogue between content and container: the theoretical foundation visible through the brand’s visual code. The result is a minimal yet powerful object - a sculptural documentation of the creative process behind Million Moves More, encapsulating both intellect and identity in a single, crafted piece.
